A student of Asian culture for many years, Eric has spent time living and traveling in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. Having immersed himself in a wide range of studies, as diverse as Japanese Tea Ceremony to Chinese Martial Arts, Eric was finally led to the field of healing. At Pacific College of San Diego, Eric studied under some of the top experts of Chinese medicine in the U.S. and from China, and has worked along side medical doctors, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, and Physical Therapists. He has taught classes to the public in Martial Arts, and lectured and written articles on Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Eric has extensive experience in pain relief, including the treatment of headaches as well as pain of the neck, shoulders, and low back. He has treated hundreds of cases of accident and injury. Often, patients find that pain treatment with acupuncture is effective where conventional medicine has failed.
Eric’s other area of specialization is in Female Reproductive Health, including Gynecology and Fertility treatment. For the last three years Eric has been working in a clinic focusing on natural fertility enhancement. He continues advancing his studies in Chinese Medical Gynecology.

Eric, I have to tell you in writing how you have changed my life. Several years ago I was in a very bad car accident which broke my left hip and damaged my neck's C-5 and C-6 discs, which had to be removed. The main part of the disc surgery was to take bone from my right hip, then fuse my neck together after the two discs were removed, requiring surgery on both hips. Ever since, I have had very intense pain in my hips, back and shoulders. I tried many drugs (pain killers) that did nothing other than mask the pain that was always present. My friend convinced me to try acupuncture, so I called and made an appointment with you at Chang Acupuncture. I had not slept through the night for over 7 years until I came to see what you could do for me. I am now sleeping deeply. All I want to do is thank you for helping me start my life over. After only two treatments the pain in my lower back is all but gone. Yes, I still have some pain, but it is more localized. There is really no way I can thank you, but to say thank you. Acupuncture really works!
